Blog Post #2 - It’s a Brand New Year!
So, I’ve recently embarked on the second painting in my Japanese series! I’m thoroughly enjoying the nostalgic experience of reminiscing about my incredible time spent in Japan. For this particular piece, I’ve chosen a much larger canvas size than what I typically work with. I’ve opted for an impressive 30” x 40” for this one. I couldn’t be more delighted with this spacious size, as it truly allows me to beautifully showcase the breathtaking Japanese landscape that I aim to capture in this painting.

I’ve included where I’m at currently with this painting. I’ve a LONG way to go before it’s finished, but I wanted to give you this preview so that you could see what’s transpiring. This painting isn’t sold as yet, but if you are interested, please let me know.
I love what I do! I hope it shows in my paintings! I love life and our wonderful global village. My desire, for all of my paintings, is to solely capture beautiful moments along life’s highway. This could be in the form of a portrait, a special scenic moment, or cityscape.
Apart from that, I’ve had the distinct pleasure of painting a beautiful landscape for an amazing person with whom I had the opportunity to work closely. She captures the essence of the natural world through her lens, taking wonderful pictures, primarily focusing on the stunning scenery of B.C. Canada’s picturesque west coast.
